Michaels Crate Coffee Table

Whether you're looking to update your living room or looking for a storage solution, Michaels crates ($12.99) are the perfect start to a cheap and easy DIY project.

Items Needed 

• Michaels Crates ($12.99/each, but use a coupon!)
• Spray Paint or Stain
• Sand Paper
• Nuts & Bolts
• Wheels (optional)

Directions

1. Sand the entire crate. 
2. Spray paint or stain the crates. I used a spray paint stain. 
3. Re-sand the crate for a rustic look. (optional)
4. Assemble the crates in the desired appearance of the coffee table. We chose to have open sides for storage. 
5. Drill holes on through the touching sides. 
6. Screw in the bolts and secure with nut. We flipped over the table and did it through the bottom so the bolts wouldn't be visible. 
7. Attach wheels (optional)

And yes, that is a Ryan Gosling coaster.
