Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt

I was honored to plan a pre-wedding celebration for my gorgeous friend, Charlie, who eloped to NYC!

I don't like to make things easy on the people around me, so instead of sending her off to a spa or taking her on a pub crawl for her bachelorette party, a friend and I planned a full-day scavenger hunt. Since she only took two witnesses with her for her special day, we wanted to make sure she got to see everyone she loved before she left for her romantic NYC elopement and (envy-inducing) Greek honeymoon!

The bridal scavenger hunt took her to all over Austin with two goals: 1. Get her pretty and pampered for her big night. 2. Allow her to have special time with the people she loved.

I think it was a success! What do you think??

Charlie and I both love Breakfast at Tiffany's and all things Audrey Hepburn,
so I also worked in a little Tiffany Blue throughout the day.

At each location, we had one or two friends or family members waiting for her. Then one friend would drive her to the next location. Clue #1 took her to brunch with her grandma, aunt and best friend.

At lunch she received Clue #2 leading her to Embellish, a chic nail boutique

Clue #3 took her to Bobbi Brown where her friend Ashley met her for makeovers complete with some take home goodies! There Charlie received Clue #4 which took her to Blo, an awesome quickie hair salon, perfect for a girls' night out!

After the salon, it was time to get changed; Charlie had clothes waiting for her at home, as well as a group of girls with some bubbly! Once she was all ready, we had another group of girls waiting at her soon-to-be hubby's restaurant for a Lingerie Party. We told her that he was working at a different location, so she didn't catch on to our plan!
The party planners and the Bride-to-Be!

After the lingerie gifts were opened, we hit the town, until she received her final clue...

Her fiance was waiting for her at the W Hotel Ausin in a suit and tie, carrying a bouquet of flowers!

  3. Arantha, it's surprisingly easy too! Most area businesses are willing to accommodate you, and once you have the girls lied up to meet her at her destination, you can delegate tasks (like making appts, ect.) It's totally a team effort and really worth it!!
