The Right Way to Tie a Ribbon when Gift Wrapping

...Or at least the way my Gma taught me, and I'm not going to question Gma.

Ps. I love the retro wrapping paper, that Rusty found at Target!

Here's a Step-by-Step How To ... & If you have something to say about it, you can take it up with Gma!

1. Lay the ribbon across the top length of your present. Then flip over the box while still holding on to the ends of the ribbon.

2. Cross the ribbon on the back. Don't worry if it's not pretty, you'll straighten it at the end.
If you'd prefer the ribbon to be off-centered, you can move this twist to either end of the gift box.
3. Flip over to the top of the gift and tie. I taped it instead, since I wanted to put a bow on top and it doesn't hold as well with a knot.
Make sure it's tight! If you pull it up and it doesn't snap back, Gma will make you redo it!

4. Stick a bow on it, you're done!
